Rather than assuming a common\ndistribution, a similar enough process for each unit, and\nfitting a single model to the whole ensemble, idionomic methods\nmodel each unit separately, then aggregate upward if sensible.\nThe group-level picture emerges from individual results, not\nthe other way around, while explicitly evaluating whether\naggregation is reasonable given the measured level of\nheterogeneity of effects. The package is built around intensive\nlongitudinal data where each participant contributes a time\nseries. It provides a pipeline from preprocessing through\nmodeling to group-level summaries.
